Meanwhile, The Soundcity MVP Awards, which has steadily position itself as the biggest music rewarding system in Nigeria apex the the Xchange 100, a 4-day event organised last year december by an association of event promoters guide by Soundcity Boss, Tajudden Adepetu.
The events held between December 20 and 23 at the Atlantic Energy (EKO) City in Lagos.

A Statement was said by the organizers, "When the consortium birthed in 2018, only three events marked the launching edition. It started with a first of the kind lifestyle award show with the tag 'Spice Lifestyle Honours'. As the name suggests, the awards awarded major players in the lifestyle field.

3. Dimeji Alara and among others.
"Award-winning artiste Asa highlighted the star-studded show alongside Billionaire crooner Teni and Adekunle Gold.
Other events that marked the edition includes the Urban Music Festival, Afrobeat Festival, Wizkid VIP Experience, Wizkid made In Lagos shutdown and of course the MVP awards. All of these were curated to elevate the standard of musical shows in the country. and alongside, give music lovers amd their concert-goers a good value for their money.
The 2019 edition also witnessed the introduction of fashion and lifestyle events that took place during the noon and a sport display tagged 'Game On' held on the very first day of the festival.
To start the festival in 2019 was 'Soundcity All-Star party ' that had the new collection of artistes like Mavin Records' Rema, Poe, Fireboy DML, and Joe Boy.
The Urban Music Festival had Zlatan Ibile, Niniola, Wande Coal and Reekado Banks who threw the crowd into the hysteria with his set.
Likewise, 'Afrobeat Fest' took place the third day and Present Asa, Sir Shina Peters, Femi Kuti, and also Johnny Drille.
YBLN Boss Olamide and other artistes from Bimbo Taylor, Lil Kesh, Reminsce, Phyno among other up-and-coming established acts shut down the venue with the 'Made in Lagos Festival', at the Atlantic Energy City..
